Say hello to leadership development that actually makes an impact.
Are you sick of wondering if your leadership development initiatives are paying off? The traditional approach to leadership development often fails to support organizational goals in a measurable and relevant way, leaving many decision-makers wondering if these initiatives are even worth the investment.
Traditional methods usually go wrong by focusing on improving tactical skills instead of enhancing leaders’ emotional intelligence and nurturing a positive company culture—both of which will create sustainable change within your organization.
Our team, led by CEO and founder Christy Uffelman, has spent more than a decade facilitating innovative leadership development designed to increase inclusion, enhance connection, and curate belonging. From Fortune 500 companies to Girl Scout troops, our experience shows that the key to organizational success is focusing on supporting the heart of your company—your people!

Curating a positive employee culture is not just a feel-good initiative, it’s a strategic move for your organization’s success.
Our trademarked approach turns leadership development inside out, providing relevant and timely solutions to the unique needs of your organization. By prioritizing personal growth as the underpinning of professional development, we can cultivate more courageous leaders ready to challenge the status quo and lean into innovation. We believe that WHO we are is HOW we lead and that the secret ingredient to achieving organizational goals is leveraging the strengths that already exist within the people on our teams.
Through PEER Mentoring and Coaching Circles, leaders across generations can develop self-awareness and realize their unique gifts and Personal Purpose. With the support and encouragement of their peers, they can create sustainable Self-Alignment by shifting their behaviors at work and at home. When we live a more authentic and aligned life, we practice self-trust. And when we believe in ourselves, anything is possible!
Imagine if…
✅ Employees at your organization felt a sense of connection and belonging at work, which allowed them to support each other and thrive in their roles authentically.
✅ Everyone on your team was able to tap into their personal strengths and realize their Purpose, working as a strategic force toward reaching your group’s collective business goals!
✅ Your Employee Resource Groups actually contributed to inclusion and equity within your company, significantly impacting employee engagement, mobility, and retention rates in your diverse talent pipeline.
✅ Instead of hiring outside “experts,” leaders at all levels learned how to coach and be coached by their peers, creating sustainable development within your company.

These outcomes are all possible for organizations willing to invest in prioritizing emotional well-being and nurturing a healthy company culture alongside organizational goals.
Hi there! I’m Christy!
I am the Founder and CEO of EDGE Leadership Solutions, and I’m so happy you found us.
I’m a reinvention coach, keynote speaker, and storyteller passionate about challenging the status quo and thinking differently in everything I do.
My Personal Purpose is to inspire hope. Ever since I was a young girl, I have worked to help people feel less alone by making meaningful connections. I launched EDGE Leadership in 2013 to support companies (and industries) as they strive to build a more sustainable, inclusive talent pipeline – all the way to the C-Suite.
In 2018, I was one of the inaugural global 50 coaches hand-picked by Dr. Brené Brown to bring her Dare to Lead work on courage-building to corporations. Named a Fierce Woman by Huffington Post, I learned my tricks of the trade by facilitating tens of thousands of leaders in Fortune 500 companies with one hope – to grow people from the inside out.
And I developed my PEER Technology® Group Coaching model to do just that.

When I’m not engaging folks in virtual or in-person Group Coaching Experiences, you will likely catch me in my community’s local Pilates or Yoga studio, or spending time by a firepit with friends or “going off the grid” to recharge in nature!
If you are a leader passionate about developing strategies that cultivate equity and sustainable professional growth for the folks on your team, let’s chat! I know we can do great things together.
Other fun facts:
- I am a TEDx speaker (still the single most terrifying thing I’ve ever done in my professional career!), a global keynote, and a lifelong student of leadership development.
- I am incredibly proud to be the #1 Amazon bestselling Author of The PEER Revolution: Group Coaching that Ignites the Power of People, The New Workspace: Best Practices for Fostering Connection and Collaboration in Remote or Hybrid Teams, and most recently, Wayfinding: Navigating Your Personal and Professional Growth Mountains.
- In our first 10 years in business, more than a quarter of a million dollars was invested in scholarships for our open-enrollment programming to ensure that folks facing economic barriers and systemic racism can access the life-changing power of peer mentoring and coaching.
- I am two years into feathering my empty nest after watching my son, Eli, find his wings at Temple University in Philadelphia. Since then, I have dabbled in more hobbies than I tried in the 21 years since he was born. I golf when the weather is nice here in Pittsburgh PA, but am still hesitant to call myself a “golfer”. I play paddle tennis during the winter, but have yet to secure an official match. On rainy days, I often paint over the discounted art that I find at HomeGoods and TJ Maxx – but only when I think they can be improved upon. I practice PIlates daily, and I write every chance I get.
- As a coach for more than 20 years, I am always looking to find my next learning edge (pun totally intended!). Since energy is at the heart of all of the work I do – whether in a virtual Group Coaching Experience or on stage in front of 1500 – I completed a multi-year certification to become a Reiki Master in 2024. This work has pushed me out of my own comfort zone in more ways than I can count, and while I am still unsure of how it will ultimately impact my “day job”, I do know that my experiences with Reiki have shown me the importance of connecting people back to themselves. And that feels like enough for now. (More to come, I’m sure!)
